Summary/Objective:
Atalanta Corporation is looking for a payroll coordinator to assist with managing all payroll activities and ensure the timely and accurate payment of employee wages. The payroll coordinator will ensure the collection of all necessary information and documents, compute wages, and investigate and resolve any payroll issues or discrepancies.
Essential Functions:
- Oversee employee timesheets
- Maintain employee information in ADP
- Check employee attendance records
- Compute salaries, benefits, and wages accurately
- Process important documents such as W-2, tax forms, etc
- Work in coordination with the HR department
- Ensure electronic transactions are performed accurately
- Maintain reports on payroll changes
- Handle bonus, compensation, and similar in a precise manner
- Answer all payroll-related questions
- Work with auditors and accountants regarding any disputes
- Comply with company rules and regulations
Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in related field, preferred
- 2 years of work experience as a Payroll Coordinator or a similar position
- Proficiency in ADP and Microsoft Office Tools
- Strong understanding and knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to multi-task
- Demonstrate the ability to maintain confidential and sensitive information
- Strong critical thinking skills
- Good interpersonal and organizational skills
- Quick decision-making skills
- Detail oriented
- Strong time management skills
